Brief
With two physical stores and an e-commerce offering, there were challenges with stock management. Therefore, the Irish jeweller needed a solution that would align and improve the way stock was uploaded, updated and managed across all three outlets.
Challenge
Not only did we need a solution to help the in-house team save time and resources, but one that would also improve the customer experience, which would be the same through every channel.
Once stock management had been improved, the focus would then need to shift to establishing an online presence within Ireland in order to increase website traffic, sales and brand awareness.
Approach
We began by integrating the retailer’s Shopify platform with Pursuit in order to improve the way stock was managed through automation.
We then helped Rocks establish an online presence through SEO efforts. Our strategised approach first focused on fixing any technical issues and then implementing a long-term plan that would improve online visibility and traffic sustainably over time.
Efforts then lay on improving the customer experience and optimising the website for conversions. This involved redesigning and developing areas of the website, including the blog, landing pages and homepage.
Solution
To ensure we could achieve all of our goals, we set out the following aims and objectives:
- Reduce the amount of time and resources being spent on uploading and updating products to the online store.
- Manage inventory levels across the three channels by integrating Shopify with Pursuit integration.
- Use automation to make tasks such as uploading new products to the website take minutes rather than weeks.
- Build an online presence through SEO efforts – ongoing technical fixes and improvements and contention creation to target relevant keywords.
- Conversion rate optimisation (CRO) by improving the user experience (UX) of the site.
